The constitution was prepared on November 26, 1949
After the independence of India in the year 1947, work was started on making the constitution of the country with the aim of making the country democratic. This constitution was prepared in 2 years, 11 months and 18 days and on November 26, 1949, the Constituent Assembly of the country accepted it. But, it was implemented on January 26, 1950.
